The Ministry of Health did not report any new cases of COVID-19 for Tuesday as the National Public Health Reference Laboratory is still working to validate the COVID-19 results from October 5.

The Ministry, in a statement, said the results include tests from both private and public labs.

“As a consequence, the MOH is unable to issue the full content of the Daily Dashboard for today, October 6th, 2020. This is in keeping with COVID-19 reporting guidelines, as no new positive case can be reported until validation,” the Ministry’s statement said.

However, the dashboard revealed there are 135 persons in institutional isolation, 15 in the COVID-19 ICU and 2, 017 recoveries. The death toll is now 95.

“The MOH sincerely apologises for this and assures members of the public that the test results for yesterday will be released as soon as they are validated,” the Ministry stated.
