52 new COVID-19 cases; 73 recovered

The Ministry of Health on Monday recorded 52 new COVID-19 cases while an additional 73 persons have recovered.
As a result, the total confirmed cases in Guyana is at 3,521 while the total recoveries is at 2,391.
Of the new cases, eight were recorded in Region One, one in Region Two, six in Region Three, 22 in Region Four, one in Region Five, 12 in Region Seven, one in Region Eight and one in Region Ten.
According to the Ministry’s daily dashboard, there are now 1,010 persons in isolation and 16 persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit.
There are 58 persons in institutional quarantine while the deaths remain at 104.
