The Ministry of Health has recorded 52 new COVID-19 cases bringing the total number of persons who tested positive for the disease thus far to 3,672.
There are 13 persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Of the new cases, nine were recorded in Region One, one in Region Two, four in Region Three, 24 in Region Four, one in Region Five, nine in Region Seven, and four in Region Ten.
According to the Ministry’s daily dashboard, there are 112 persons in institutional isolation and 850 persons on home isolation while 56 persons are in institutional quarantine.
The Ministry reported two new deaths on Friday moving the total to 107 but this was not recorded in the dashboard which covers up to midnight Thursday.
So far, 2,590 persons have recovered.
