A 27-year-old unemployed man of D’Andrade Street, Newtown Kitty, Georgetown was executed on Saturday at about 18:35h.
Seon ‘Gaza’ Landon was shot multiple times while at friend’s place at ‘C’ Field Sophia reportedly by a 30-year-old man of ‘D’ Field Sophia and another male.
Police Headquarters reported that Landon was shot on May 01 at Cummings Park, Georgetown. The 20-year-old suspect in this incident was identified as Kevin Mc Adam. Mc Adam was arrested and charged for attempted murder and Police said he is presently out on bail.
According to reports Landon and his wife went to visit a friend on Saturday when his wife left to buy food nearby. Landon and the friend was sitting outside when the two suspects both armed with handguns approached on foot and discharged several rounds in their direction and escaped.
The friend said he threw himself on the ground for cover while Landon was shot.
Landon was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Police investigations are ongoing.
