The Ministry of Health on Wednesday recorded the third COVID-19 death from Region One, a 68-year-old male. The Ministry in a statement said the patient died while receiving medical care. This pushes to the death toll to 117 and represents the 35th COVID-19 death for the month of October.
The Ministry earlier reported two other deaths, two males, ages 80 and 78 years old also from Region One and who also died while receiving medical care.
