As of October 31, 2020 Guyana recorded 19 new COVID-19 cases after 258 tests. This brings the total known cases to 4, 162.
There are nine persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 79 in institutional isolation and 716 in home isolation. An additional 39 persons are in institutional quarantine.
To date 3, 228 persons have recovered and 124 have died.
The new cases were recorded in Region One with four cases, Region Two with seven new cases, Region Three recorded one new case, five cases were recorded in Region Four and Region Ten recorded two cases.
The Ministry of Health said so far, 19, 524 persons were tested for COVID-19.
