The Ministry of Health on Friday recorded 64 new COVID-19 cases of which 54 were recorded in Region Four.
The new cases bring the total number of confirmed cases across the country to 4, 457.
The other cases were recorded in Region Three with seven new cases while Regions One, Seven and Ten each recorded one new case.
There are 11 patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Georgetown Public Hospital, 74 patients are in institutional isolation and 770 are in home isolation.
An additional 42 persons, who came into contact with positive COVID-19 patients, are in institutional quarantine.
To date, 133 persons have died and 3, 467 have recovered.
A total of 21, 372 persons have been tested so far.
