The Ministry of Health on Thursday reported 44 new COVID-19 cases from 449 tests, taking the overall number of confirmed cases to 4, 662.
The new cases were recorded in Region Four with 31 new cases, Region One recorded three new cases, Regions Three and Five recorded one new case each, Regions Six and Seven recorded two new cases each and Region Ten recorded four new cases.
There are 11 patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit, 56 in institutional isolation and 839 in home isolation. With an additional COVID-19 death reported by the Ministry on Thursday, the death toll is now 138 and to date 3, 616 persons have recovered.
The number of tests done so far is 23, 552.
