East Bank Essequibo unit Cold Fusion Cricket Club will host West Berbice side Blairmont Blazers in a T20 match on Sunday at the Tuschen Cricket Ground from 09:30h.
The match will be played under strict COVID-19 guidelines and Deputy Commander for Region Three, Boodnarine Persaud, will be present as part of the organising group.
Other special invitees include Archie Mohan of Hawaiian Arctic Cricket Club of Canada, Anil Beharry of Young Warriors Cricket Club (Berbice), Maniram Shew and Cricket Commentator Inderjeet Persaud.
According to the organisers, there will be a seven-minute break between innings and though a friendly affair, stiff competition is expected with various trophies up for grabs. The match is sponsored by Supreme Petroleum of Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo.
