Region Six records 25 new COVID-19 cases

The East Berbice – Corentyne Region on Friday recorded 25 new COVID-19 cases, moving the region’s overall total to 207 to date.
The Region Six new cases formed part of a total of 34 recorded countrywide on Friday from 276 tests.
The other cases were recorded as follows; two in Region Three, six in Region Four and one in Region Ten.
According to the Ministry of Health’s daily dashboard, there are four persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
There are 802 persons on home isolation across the country, 83 persons with symptoms in institutional isolation and 55 suspected cases in institutional quarantine.
To date, there have been 149 deaths with 4,272 recoveries.
