The Ministry of Health on Monday recorded 32 COVID-19 cases from 210 tests, taking the overall number of confirmed cases to 5, 665.
The new cases were reported in Regions One and Four with three new cases each, Region Two recorded 11 new cases, Region Six recorded four new cases, Region Seven recorded seven new cases, while Region Nine recorded one new case and Region Ten recorded three new cases.
There are 720 patients currently in home isolation, 40 in institutional isolation and four patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit at the Infectious Disease Hospital at Lililendaal, East Coast Demerara.
The Ministry to date recorded 154 COVID-19 deaths with three recorded deaths at the weekend and a total of 4, 779 persons have recovered.
