The Ministry of Health on Monday reported 23 new COVID-19 cases from 140 tests, taking the overall number of confirmed cases to 5, 943.
Sixteen of the new cases were recorded in Region One while Region Four recorded four new cases and Region Three recorded three new cases.
There are eight patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit at the Infectious Disease Hospital, 45 in institutional isolation and 657 in home isolation.
An additional 22 persons who came into contact with positive patients are in institutional quarantine.
To date, 5,077 persons have recovered and 156 persons died; the number of active cases is 866.
