The Ministry of Health on Tuesday recorded 30 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the overall total to 5,973 and 67 new recoveries. The total recoveries are 5,144, which means there are only 829 active cases.
The new cases on Tuesday were recorded as follows: one in Region One, three in Region Four, five in Region Five, one in Region Six and 20 in Region Ten.
There are currently nine persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit and 43 persons in institutional isolation. The Ministry reported that there are 621 asymptomatic cases on home isolation while 17 persons are in institutional quarantine.
The deaths remain at 156.
