Digicel Guyana on Tuesday announced the upgrade of the Prime Bundles with the addition of three more apps at the same price.

CEO of Digicel Guyana, Gregory Dean, said, “We are excited to continue opening a great new world of entertainment and digital engagement.”

Dean went on to explain the expansion in the new Prime Bundles offering – increasing the number of Apps – and the data allocation to enjoy them at the same price.

“We are happy to positively respond to our customers, who have been calling for “simply more”! Effective immediately – they can avail of three new Apps: PlayGo 2.0, SportsMax and Loop.”

Dean added, “For the vast majority of our customers, flipping the switch to our faster data speeds will not only open up a whole new world of entertainment and digital engagement, but also opportunities for the country overall. We are proud to help deliver on these improvements throughout Guyana.”

One of Digicel’s first major moves after launching itself as a Digital Operator in October, was the introduction of the Digicel Prime Bundles, which enable customers to enjoy all of the digital experiences and data they could possibly wish for.

Now, with the introduction of three new apps to Guyana, customers have access to all eight of Digicel’s apps; and while each app is available on its own (and in some instances available for both Digicel and non-Digicel customers), customers get more value when using the apps on a Digicel Prime Bundle.

When on a Digicel Prime Bundle, customers get access to the apps, each with its own data allotment, as well as a generous helping of any-use data that can be used for anything they want to do.

The three new apps- PlayGo, SportsMax and Loop- offer customers simply more options for entertainment and information. PlayGo showcases regional live content. Customers activating a Prime Bundle in December will enjoy HBO free for 30 days.

Additionally, they will receive 50% off in January and February. For the sport fans, SportsMax is like having a front-row seat to all the action at your fingertips. And Loop is the Caribbean’s number one news source for local, regional and international content.

Digicel’s app ecosystem also includes BiP (enhanced messaging and marketplaces), Billo (cloud storage), D’Music (music), GoLoud (local radio and podcasts), and MyDigicel app (self-care).

Dean continued, “Having relaunched as a Digital Operator, our aim is to provide customers with powerful digital experiences, 1440 minutes of each day, which we do through our apps, and of course, the foundation of all this is a powerful network. We know that customers will thoroughly enjoy our apps, and the new ones offer even more exciting content, giving customers more access to the things they love and need in order to live their best digital lives.” (Digicel Guyana)
