Father of three dies in motorcycle accident

Sixty-year-old Clifton Sukhoo, a shopkeeper and father of three, was killed on the spot Tuesday after a motorcyclist crashed into him on the Cumberland, East Canje Berbice Public Road.

His brother, Mohabir Jattan told the News Room that Sukhoo was on his way home after taking his motorcycle to the workshop for minor repairs; the incident occurred at around 12:30h.

It is alleged that the rider of the CBR motorcycle crashed into Sukhoo, who attempted to turn into a street. The impact of the crash struck Sukhoo off his motorcycle; he was thrown into the air and landed about 30 feet away from the point of impact.

Mr Jattan…..you first need to ascertain who was at fault and whether it was an avoidable accident before howling for justice. But that aside my condolences to your family and may your brother RIP.
