21 of 26 COVID-19 cases recorded in Region Ten
The Ministry of Health on Thursday recorded 26 new COVID-19 cases of which 21 were recorded in Region Ten, bringing that region’s total to 436.
The overall total cases across the country is now 6,042. According to the ministry’s daily dashboard, three new cases were recorded in Region Four, one in Region Six and one in Region Seven.
The new persons who tested positive for the disease came from a total of 334 tests. There are currently 35 persons in institutional isolation, 644 on home isolation and 70 persons in institutional quarantine.
The death toll remains at 158 while 5,197 persons have recovered. The active cases are only 846.
