Big Man Cricket MVP to receive motorcycle from Georgetown business

The Man-of-the-Series in the Big Man Cricket Over-45, 25-over competition will be the recipient of a brand new motorcycle, the organising body announced on Thursday.

While specific dates have not been confirmed, the tournament will be held in January/February 2021.

In a release, Big Man Cricket said the “most proficient player of the tournament” would ride away with a Zanella 110cc motorcycle, compliments of Timothy Bhagwandin of Timothy’s Motorcycle and Spares of Regent and Oronoque Streets, Georgetown.

“There will be several prizes and trophies to be awarded at the end of this tournament, but this one is expected to be the most cherished one for all the players,” Big Man Cricket said.

Additionally, the organisers said the competition would feature eight strong teams “rather than a depleted tournament with several teams; our focus being more on quality than quantity.”
