Barnwell’s compatriots Kevin Sinclair, Devendra Bishoo and Ashmead Nedd bowled well upfront to limit Brampton Pacers to 127-8, before he anchored the team to a six-wicket win.

Guyana Amazon Warriors opener Chandrapaul Hemraj was outstanding with bat and ball for the second game in succession, making 43 and taking 1-17 in Somerset Cavaliers’ nine-run win over US All Stars.

Guyana Jaguars left-arm spinner Gudakesh Motie was splendid in all three aspects of the game as well, making 14* off 11, claiming 1-29 and taking arguably the catch of the tournament, covering great distance on the boundary.
