160th COVID-19 death recorded
The Ministry of Health on Tuesday reported that a 73-year-old man from Region Five is the country’s latest COVID-19 death, taking the overall death toll to 160.
The Ministry in a statement revealed that the patient died on Monday while receiving care at a medical facility. He is now the ninth person to have died for this month.
All Guyanese are reminded to observe the protocols of the COVID-19 EMERGENCY MEASURES (NO.11), which are in effect until December 31, 2020.
