23 new COVID-19 cases from 505 tests

Twenty- three new COVID-19 cases were recorded on December 25 bringing the total number of cases to 6,289.

The new cases were recorded in as follows: 14 in Region Four, three in Region Five, five in Region Eight and one in Region Ten.

There are currently 18 persons in institutional isolation and 547 persons in home isolation while there are seven persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

The Ministry reported that there are 15 persons in institutional quarantine.

To date, 5,555 persons have recovered from COVID-19 and 162 have died.
