Shawn Robinson, 28 years old, succumbed at the Georgetown Public Hospital this morning, moments after he was shot at Guyhoc Park Squatting Area by person(s) unknown.
Police in a statement on Sunday said an anonymous call was received at about 18:36hr on Saturday about a shooting at an alleyway at Guyhoc Park; the police was told that the person was taken to the GPHC.
According to the statement, a party of police went to the GPHC and found the victim seeking medical attention from a gunshot injury to the left side chest.
His condition was regarded as serious and he succumbed on Sunday before any questions could be asked about the perpetrator(s).
Investigations are still ongoing.
