With cricket activities set to resume in early 2021, the Guyana Jaguars players will undergo fitness assessment activities from Monday, January 4, at the LBI Ground, East Coast Demerara.
The Guyana Cricket Board, in a press release on Tuesday, indicated that the fitness assessment will be for contracted franchise players, as well as potential Academy players.
The assessment of potential academy players is essential, since Cricket Guyana Inc. intends to contract players for the remainder of the 2020-2021 regional season.
Additionally, with the Cricket West Indies Regional Super50 set for February 2021, the franchise players will be engaged in three practice games from which the Guyana Jaguars squad would be selected.
Those games will be on January 8, 10 and 12 at the LBI Ground.
