The Ministry of Health on Tuesday recorded 28 new COVID-19 cases from 329 tests, taking the overall number of confirmed cases to 6, 407.
Region One recorded five new cases, Regions Two, Three and Eight each recorded two new cases while Region Four recorded 11 new cases, Regions Five, Seven and Nine recorded one new case and Region Ten recorded three new cases.
There are 270 patients in home isolation, 18 in institutional isolation and five patients are in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit at the Infectious Disease Hospital. An additional 46 persons who came into contact with positive patients are in institutional quarantine.
To date, 166 persons have died and 5, 948 have recovered.
