Three customers on Friday walked away with the grand cash prizes in the “Connected for Good” promotion organized by E-Networks, Guyana’s leading provider of television, internet, entertainment, ICT, and media services.

Each winner received $50,000 cash and a hamper from Survival Supermarket.

They were selected from a long list of customers who signed up for E-Networks’ 4G and 5G internet service between November 31 and December 20, 2020.

The winners – Joyce Sullivan, Mathew Robinson, and Negrie Wharton – were in high praise to E–Networks; they were all surprised when contacted and told they had won the grand prize.

The trio received their prizes on Friday at the company’s Camp Street location from Marketing Coordinator Ashley John.

John told the News Room that there were also weekly prizes of vouchers from GuyOil, Survival Supermarket and Courts from which an additional 16 persons benefited.

“Reliable and affordable internet is very important and we wanted to be able to offer that to our customers and at the same time say thank you for choosing us,” she said.

Sullivan, who described the service as “value for money”, said she intends to use her winnings to help in preparing for the reopening of her Day Care which was closed due to COVID-19.

The Craig, EBD resident said with the service in her home for more than a month now, she has no complaints and praised the customer service offered by E-Networks.

Meanwhile, a still pleasantly surprised Wharton said the cash prize comes at a very good time as his daughter’s private school fees are due.

He hails from Castello Housing Scheme, West La Penitence and also said the service has worked well for him and his neighbors.

Back in September 2020, E-Networks announced exciting additions to its internet options for homes and businesses.

Earlier in 2020, E-Networks rolled out a 4G network in Georgetown, from Enmore to Grove, and in Parfaite Harmonie. This network delivered 20 Mbps of home internet service at a very affordable price point of $8,990 monthly (VAT inclusive).

In keeping with the company’s commitment to keep improving services for its customers, E-Networks has expanded the coverage area to include Cornelia Ida, Schoonord and Tuschen, as well as unveiled its new 5G service – the first of its kind in Guyana.
