The Ministry of Health on Monday reported 14 new COVID-19 cases from 140 tests, taking the overall number of confirmed cases to 6, 588.
The new cases were reported in Region Three with one new case, Region Four with eight new cases, Region Five with two new cases and Region Eight with three new cases.
There are 323 patients in home isolation, 52 patients are in institutional isolation and three patients are in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit at the Infectious Disease Hospital.
The Ministry on Monday also reported the country’s 170th COVID-19 death; the patient was a 65-year-old man from Region Four who died while receiving medical care at a facility.
Total recoveries to date is 6, 040.
