The warm-up fixture took the format of one innings, with the West Indies XI posting 258-9 from the allotted 50 overs.

DaSilva and ODI Vice-captain Sunil Ambris added 82 in 16 overs for the first wicket, before the latter was dismissed for 39 off 52 balls (4x4s, 1×6).

DaSilva topscored with 56 off 69 (6x4s, 1×6) and Powell cracked 49 off 40 (4x4s, 3x6s). Other contributions came from Nkrumah Bonner (21), Jahmar Hamilton (20*), Andre McCarthy (19) and Alzarri Joseph (18*).

Kyle Mayers (9), West Indies ODI skipper Jason Mohammed (4) and Raymon Reifer (1) all fell cheaply.

Reifer and Akeal Hosein took two wickets each.

West Indies and Bangladesh will square off in three ODIs on January 20, 22 and 25. A two-match Test series will follow, with games starting February 3 and 11.
