19 new COVID-19 cases

A total of 19 new COVID-19 cases were recorded on Tuesday from 165 tests, taking Guyana’s overall number of confirmed cases to 6, 950.
Fourteen new cases were recorded in Region Four while Region Six recorded three new cases.
Regions Five and Seven recorded one new case each.
To date, a total of 6, 206 persons have recovered and 170 have died.
There are 537 patients in home isolation, 31 patients are in institutional isolation and six patients are in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit at the Infectious Disease Hospital.
