Hotel manager robbed at knifepoint in Nabaclis
Police are on the hunt for two men who reportedly robbed Paul Rodney, a hotel manager, at knifepoint on Monday night while he was walking home in Nabaclis, East Coast Demerara.
Police Headquarters in a statement noted that the suspects pounced on Rodney from the back, placed a knife to his neck and relieved him of a Motorola cell phone valued $50,000 and a bag with keys.
The armed robbery occurred at about 23:10h. The bandits escaped on foot; the police was summoned shortly after and the area was combed for suspects fitting the description but they were not found.
Investigations are ongoing.
