Several notable West Indies limited over players have been named by their franchise to feature in this year’s Regional Super50 in Antigua from February 7-27.
Among the big names are West Indies’ white-ball captain Kieron Pollard, Test captain Jason Holder, and young batting brigade Shai Hope, Nicholas Pooran and Shimron Hetmyer. Spinner Sunil Narine and West Indies limited-overs spearhead Sheldon Cottrell will also feature in the tournament.
Some of the new One-Day International players on the tour to Bangladesh are expected to return to the Caribbean after Monday’s final ODI to also participate in the regional competition.
