Cocaine in snack box: wanted bulletin issued for South Ruimveldt residents

The Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) on Friday issued wanted bulletins for two persons in relation to the recent cocaine found hidden in a box of snacks at the Eugene F. Correia International Airport at Ogle.

CANU in a statement revealed that Chelsea Collins and Edinho Lewis are wanted for questioning. CANU said several attempts to locate them have proven futile.

Collins’ last listed address is Lot 10 David Rose Street, South Ruimveldt, Georgetown, while Lewis’ last known address is 25 Shopping Plaza, South Ruimveldt, Georgetown.

Pathrina Pilgrim, 30, of North Road, Bourda, Georgetown was arrested on Wednesday after she attempted to ship the drugs from Georgetown, Guyana to Brooklyn, New York. Pilgrim appeared before the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court on Friday and was remanded to prison.

The drugs which amount to 534 grams were intercepted before it was loaded onto a flight.
