West Indies and the Bangladesh Cricket Board XI played to a draw in their three-day warm-up game at Chattogram ahead of the Caribbean side’s opening Test against the host nation on February 3.

From an individual perspective, all-rounder Raymon Reifer staked a claim for a place in that first Test XI by getting runs and wickets on the final day.

West Indies, resuming on 179-5 after taking a first innings lead of 97, ended their innings on 291 with overnight batsman Nkrumah Bonner failing to add to his 80.

Reifer made 49 not out and wicketkeeper/batsman Joshua Da Silva scored 46, after opener John Campbell cracked 68 the previous day. Fast bowlers Mukidul Islam and Khaled Ahmed took 4-59 and 3-42 respectively for the BCB XI, who were set a target of 389.

In the remaining 29 overs possible in the match, BCB XI reached 63-2 with left-armer Reifer picking up both wickets.
