The Ministry of Health on Thursday recorded the country’s 179th COVID-19 death.
The latest fatality is a 73-year-old man from Region One (Barima-Waini) who died while receiving medical care at a facility. He is the second person to have died for February.
The Ministry earlier on Thursday reported another fatality – a 54-year-old man from Region Four (Demerara-Mahaica) who also died on Wednesday while receiving care at a medical facility.
