Haniff and Chan team up to win Panko Steel Fabrication golf

Richard Haniff and Wayne Chan on Sunday teamed up to cart off the top prize in the Panko Steel Fabrication-sponsored golf tournament at the Lusignan Golf Course, East Coast Demerara.

A total of 54 players turned out at the Golf Course to compete in the one-day tournament, which was played under strict COVID-19 guidelines.

Below are the summarised results

1^st place – Richard Haniff and Wayne Chan -25

2^nd place – Vijay Deo and Hardeo Ganpat -26

3^rd place – Mike Guyadin and Dino Bissessar -26

4^th place – Ayube Subhan and Bholaram Deo -27

5^th place – Mahen Harry and Rakesh Harry – 27

Lowest Gross– Azurdeen Shaw and Avinash Persaud – 31

The company was well represented by its owner Lakeram ‘Panko’ Ramsundar and his family, who assisted in the presentation of prizes. Executives of the Lusignan Golf Club expressed gratitude to Ramsundar and his company for their support of the development of golf in Guyana.
