Police are on the hunt for two bandits who robbed a policeman at knifepoint of a black CB 1 Honda motorcycle on Monday at Light Street, Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo.
Police Headquarters in a statement noted that Kellon Davis, 22, of Tuschen, was riding in the vicinity of Light Street at around 21:00h when he slowed down to go over a speed bump.
At this time, he was approached by the two suspects who were walking on the road; one of the men pulled out a knife and ordered Davis to get off the motorcycle while the other make picked up a piece of wood and advanced towards him.
Davis jumped off the bike and the two bandits then rode away.
