Two elderly men – an 83-year-old from Region Four (Demerara-Mahaica) and a 90-year-old from Region Five (Mahaica-Berbice), have been recorded as the country’s latest COVID-19 deaths. The latest casualties take the country’s death toll to 184 and also mean that seventh persons have died so far for the month.
The Ministry of Health in a statement revealed that both patients died while receiving medical care at a facility on Wednesday.
