The latest fatalities are two males, ages 84 and 59, from Region Four (Demerara-Mahaica). These persons died while receiving care at a medical facility on February 11. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 186 and the ninth for the month of February.

The ministry is appealing to the general public to respect the confidentiality of the two deceased and their families and to allow them to mourn their tragic loss in peace.
