A 71-year-old man from Region Four (Demerara-Mahaica) is the country’s latest COVID-19 death. According to a statement from the Ministry of Health, the patient died while receiving care at a medical facility on Sunday.
This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 187 and also represents the tenth death for the month of February.
