A 62-year-old Hummingbird Street, Festival City woman is now traumatized after three bandits invaded her home and placed a gun in her mouth.
According to police reports, Cheryl Barker was awakened by persons walking in her living room at about 01:20 h on Sunday and started to scream.
She was then confronted by three identifiable bandits who demanded money and jewelry. One of the other bandits was also armed with a cutlass.
Police said they placed the gun in the woman’s mouth and proceeded to ransack the house and then escaped. Barker, who is unemployed, was robbed of $160,000 in cash, a Samsung galaxy cellphone and a 32 inch television.
Police said the suspects gained entry into the house by removing several louvre panes from a window located on the eastern side of building.
