One new COVID-19 case, 16 new recoveries recorded

One new COVID-19 case was recorded on Monday from 112 new tests, taking the overall number of confirmed cases to 8, 232. The single case was recorded in Region Four, while at the weekend a total of 50 cases were recorded.

An additional 16 new recoveries were also recorded which means that there are now 7, 399 recoveries. An additional death was also reported on Monday taking the death toll to 187.

There are now 595 patients in home isolation, 45 patients are in institutional isolation and seven patients are in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit at the Infectious Diseases Hospital.
