Guyana’s COVID-19 death toll now at 188
A 70-year-old man from Region Three (Essequibo Islands-West Demerara) is the country’s latest COVID-19 death.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Health, the patient died while receiving care at a medical facility on Sunday.
This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 188 and also represents the eleventh death for the month of February.
