A total of 19 new COVID-19 cases were recorded on Friday from 843 tests, taking the overall number of known cases to 8, 357.
Region Four recorded 10 new cases, while Regions Three and Ten recorded three new cases each; Region Nine recorded two new cases and Region Seven recorded one new case.
There are now nine patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit at the Infectious Diseases Hospital, 42 patients are in institutional isolation and 463 patients are in home isolation.
To date, 7, 654 persons have recovered and 189 died from the dreaded disease.
