Guyana Jaguars ended the round-robin phase of the CG Insurance Super50 Cup with a thumping nine-wicket win over Windward Islands Volcanoes to solidify their position at number two on the point standings.

Chasing 154 at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Jaguars raced to 155-1 in 28.4 overs with Shimron Hetmyer cracking 67 not out off 59 balls, his second half-century of the competition.

The left-hander smashed four sixes and three fours in the final game of the preliminary phase of the tournament on Monday.

He added an unbroken 93 with opener Tevin Imlach, who ended on 37 off 81 balls to follow up his 38 in the last game against Trinidad and Tobago Red Force.

Joseph was named Man-of-the-Match.

The win was Jaguars fourth in five games, and they finish only behind Trinidad and Tobago Red Force, who won all their games. Volcanoes and Jamaica Scorpions are the other teams in the semi-finals, set for later this week.
