A total of 28 new COVID-19 cases were recorded from 657 tests, taking the overall number of confirmed cases to 8, 485.
Region Four accounted for majority of the cases with 17; Region Three recorded four new cases, Region Seven recorded one new case and Regions Five, Nine and Ten each recorded two new cases.
Two COVID-19 deaths were reported on Thursday taking the death toll to 195. An additional 56 new recoveries were also recorded which means that there are a total of 7, 890 recoveries.
There are 418 patients in home isolation, 38 patients are in institutional isolation and four patients are in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Infectious Diseases Hospital.
