28 new COVID cases from 763 tests

Guyana recorded 28 new COVID-19 cases on Friday from 763 tests, taking the overall number of confirmed cases to 8, 513.
Seventeen of the new cases were recorded in Region Four, while Region Six recorded eight new cases and Region Five recorded three new cases.
To date, 195 persons have died and 7, 945 have recovered.
There are 332 patients in home isolation, 37 patients are in institutional isolation and four patients are in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Infectious Diseases Hospital.
