10 new COVID cases recorded
Guyana on Monday recorded ten new COVID-19 cases from 461 tests. This takes the overall number of confirmed cases to date to 8, 595.
Region One recorded one new case, Region Three recorded two new cases, Region Four recorded four new cases and Region Five recorded three new cases.
Two additional COVID-19 deaths were reported on Monday taking the death toll to 197 while so far, 7, 993 persons have recovered.
There are 374 patients in home isolation, 26 are in institutional isolation and five patients are in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Infectious Diseases Hospital.
