The Ministry of Health on Monday reported two additional COVID-19 deaths which takes the death toll to 197.
The Ministry in a statement revealed that a 64-year-old man from Region Ten (Upper Demerara-Berbice) and a 79-year-old woman from Region Four (Demerara-Mahaica) died on Sunday.
Both patients died while receiving medical care at a facility. This means that a total of 19 persons have died for the month of February.
