35 new cases of COVID-19 recorded

Guyana has recorded 35 new cases of COVID-19 from 609 tests conducted, taking the overall number of confirmed cases since March 2020 to 8,807.
The new cases were recorded in Region Three with four cases; Region Four with 24 cases; Region Five recorded one case while Regions Six and Nine each recorded three cases.
A total of 8,114 persons have recorded while there are eight persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 40 persons in institutional isolation, 13 in institutional quarantine, and 444 persons in home isolation.
