    Francis Lau Boyce Construction Inc. (FLB), a Trinidad-based company, officially opened its Georgetown office located at Lot 24 ‘C’ Light Street Georgetown on Monday, March 08, 2021.

    A simple launch ceremony was held at the office where the company’s local managing partner Rayad P. Boyce spoke of the prospects for the company here.

    Boyce in his feature address noted that “FLB Inc. is open to utilizing its knowledge, skills and experience gathered over the past 50+ years to better serve all our Guyanese people.”

    He also noted that the focus will be on being of service to the Oil & Gas sector, the Government of Guyana, private companies and individuals to provide structural steel solutions to the market.

    After the launch ceremony, Boyce paid a courtesy call on the Minister within the Ministry of Public Works, Deodat Indar. During that meeting, they discussed business opportunities and entrepreneurship.

    Francis Lau Construction Inc. was founded in 1963, Francis-Lau Construction Company Limited as a family-owned and operated specialist construction firm that works with secondary steelwork for the full spectrum of industry sectors in Trinidad and Tobago, and throughout the Caribbean.

    The company said it has strategically positioned itself in the industry and remains committed to meeting and exceeding customers’ expectations for structural steel fabrication and erection.

    The newest venture of opening an office in Guyana will be supported by over fifty-eight (58) years of experience in the fabrication and erection of structural steel buildings.

    “Within the last thirty-five (35) years we have been involved in the exportation of structures to our CARICOM sister nations of Dominica, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, and the Grenadines, Barbados, Grenada, St. Maarten, St. Kitts, Antigua and Suriname where we have demonstrated to clients our competence, capability, and capacity to deliver building solutions in a timely and economical manner.,” a statement from the company noted.
