Another COVID death takes toll to 216
A 69-year-old man from Region Four (Demerara-Mahaica) is the country’s latest COVID-19 death. The Ministry of Health in a statement on Monday said he died one day earlier, on Sunday, while receiving care at a medical facility.
This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 216 and also represents the 17th death for the month thus far.
