The Ministry of Health recorded another COVID-19 death on Wednesday. The latest fatality is a 69-year-old man from Region Four (Demerara-Mahaica) who died while receiving care at a medical facility.
This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 221 and also represents the 22nd death for the month.
Meanwhile, this is the sixth person to have died from COVID for the week.
